"It's Fall Everyone! November is sneaking by quickly"

Hunters – take note of all the recipes we have available online using our Smoking Gun Jerky marinade as a base.  Our recipes are one of the best free guides with ideas and flavors that we are happy to share.

 

You can make awesome jerky at home with easy prep and a multitude of seasonings and spices you may already have at home.  We do offer seasonings like Wicked Awesome, Wicked Mary, Applewood, Black Powder and Brazilian Steakhouse…AND our potent Dynamite Dust if you want some spice beyond the norm!  All are great additions to our Mild Hickory jerky marinade – but remember that straight from the jug with no additions, you can make a great old-fashioned jerky from your home kitchen.  Jerky making is a great hobby using any meat, ground or whole muscle, so check us out if you want a fun new hobby when the weather changes and you’re stuck indoors! 

 

We are sending out “CONGRATS” to the state volleyball teams who competed here in Lincoln this past weekend.  More action to come later in the month with the Nebraska High School Football championships, too!  We are rooting for great experiences on and off the field for these young men!

 

Our top priority during November is our “Small Business Saturday” event which occurs on Saturday, November 30,, 2024 this year.  While it’s a great day to shop all the big Black Friday specials, supporting small biz during the annual Saturday following Thanksgiving means so much to the “little guys” (like Smoking Gun Jerky of Nebraska) who may not have the budgets for mass marketing, but truly have great products that are often created by the owners themselves.  Gifting a special item from the “LOCALS” helps support real families in your area, local economies, and opportunities for growth in your communities.  Small Business Saturday is a nation-wide experience so whether you’re from Colorado, Connecticut or anywhere in between, shopping local makes a difference for your community!  We urge you to support Small Business Saturday wherever you call home!
